ABOUT HOPPING MAD DESIGNS 

Behind every well-crafted design is a dedicated design team.

To survive for over 15 years in a design marketplace as competitive as Sydney, suggests that we may have got a few things right when it comes to meeting the challenge of delivering quality designs over the long-term.

It’s a simple philosophy, but we believe as strongly today as when we entered the market that for as long as we love designing, our clients will love what we create.

At the heart of design work that evokes emotion, captures a brand personality, or manages to surprise, is the joy of creation. We’ve never left our passion behind for playing with colour palettes or for using digital art to draw one’s attention, and this has resulted in over 15 years of repeat customers, and a growing demand for our products.

Having injected fresh creativity into established corporations, and having helped many new businesses build and develop their brand, we’re confident that Hopping Mad Designs has both the talent and the experience to create designs that truly deliver.

We attribute much of our success to a trusted creative partnership that has survived the test of time. With Joanna Basile as our Creative Director and Steven Waldberg as the Director of Business Development, we are fortunate to be led by a balanced partnership that pairs creative thinking with sharp business acumen. The results for our clients are designs that are as artistic as they are relevant to achieving their business objective.

Our Beginning

Originally a niche design agency, Hopping Mad Designs rapidly grew to include a team of web design and graphic design specialists that both big and small business would turn to when they needed quality design solutions.

With a team of qualified design professionals now populating our agency, our clients can enjoy direct contact with their designer, and we can continue to ensure high-quality design work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget.

At Hopping Mad Designs, we pride ourselves on building strong, ongoing relationships with our clients. While we have grown significantly, we’ve always maintained the focus and values of a small business at heart.

With her seemingly unflappable patience and his unusual sense of humour, Jo and Steven remain a constant guiding presence in our studio—they remain committed to meeting every client, and still believe it is essential to really understand your needs, so at Hopping Mad Designs we don’t just meet, but exceed your expectations.

Our Vision

As designers, we feel privileged to be able to leave our creative mark everywhere from the boardroom to billboards. In an era when a great deal of design work is done through digital templates or offshore designers, we’re proud to continue to produce locally-created designs, from talented local designers, whose work exudes originality, is inspiring, and always fresh.
